What is the Windy City Rubber Ducky Derby?

It’s a signature annual fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics Illinois! Mark your calendars for the 9th Annual Windy City Rubber Ducky Derby on Thursday, August 7, 2014*!  Thousands of spectators will join us as more than 50,000 yellow rubber ducks splash into the Chicago River from the Columbus Drive bridge and race to the finish line.  Ducks Adoptions are only $5 for one entry or a Quack Pack is $25 for six entries!  You could be the winner of a great prize, including a 2014 Chevy Equinox.  Be sure to join us on race day at the Family Festival located outside the Wrigley Building (400 N. Michigan Ave.).  We’ll have face painting, games, free food and appearances by several sports mascots!  It’s fun for the entire family, and it’s all for a great cause—the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois!
