Volunteers Integral Part of Special Olympics
Special Olympics would not exist today – could not have been created – without the time, energy, education, and commitment of the more than 25,000 volunteers in Illinois and more than a million worldwide! Special Olympics Illinois relies on people of all ages to help in every aspect of the program – both at the local and state level.
Anyone 10 years or older can be a Special Olympics volunteer. Volunteering for Special Olympics can create lifetime friendships and great rewards.
Check Guidelines and Opportunities for an important explanation of volunteer classifications. Don't forget to read the Volunteer Code of Conduct.
