Polar Plunge Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsorship of the Law Enforcement Torch Run and the Polar Plunges is not a passive commitment (i.e., simply making a donation to charity). It represents a novel, interactive opportunity for engaging customers and demonstrating the company’s commitment to supporting the community. As opposed to merely being a “name,” sponsors have the ability to integrate their products and services into the local Torch Run and Polar Plunge events, so each community logically associates or connects the company to the event.
The combined value of all the potential awareness is factored into the various sponsorship levels. Area, regional and state sponsorship opportunities are available for both the Law Enforcement Torch Run and the Polar Plunges, with levels ranging from $1,000 to $50,000.
For information on sponsorship opportunities, contact Chris Winston, Director of Marketing & Events, at 630-942-5617.
Does Your Company Match Funds?
This is one way to raise even more money for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois. Check to see if your company or organization matches funds that you raise. In many cases a company match can put your fundraising goal over the top. If you have questions regarding matching funrs, contact Becky Lipp at 800-394-0562.
