Olympic Town at Summer Games had needed some fun pumped back into it and a great sponsor to fund the entertainment for the athletes, coaches, volunteers and families. The Snyder Companies agreed to fund $10,000 worth of fantastic entertainment at the 2014 Special Olympics Illinois Summer Games, and they took it over!
The majority of Olympic Town was given a facelift and much needed boost of entertainment – including appearances by Ronald McDonald, local team mascots and the ISU women’s Basketball team – as well as a DJ and fresh new games. It was a perfect way for the athletes and families to spend time between competitions.
