Key Volunteer – Finance
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Finance Department with accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, and general account entries
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passion for helping individuals with special needs and/or intellectual disabilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; or, 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of accounting standards, conventions and principles
- Good mathematical skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft applications
- Knowledge of Excel Workbook applications
- Close visual acuity is required; incumbents must be able to use a computer keyboard and look at a computer screen for extended periods of time
COMPENSATION:

WORK SCHEDULE:
- Based out of Headquarters Office in Normal, IL
- Reports to the Senior Director—Finance & Database Management
- Ongoing, non-temporary position
- Flexible schedule; preference for a volunteer who could work two scheduled mornings or afternoons per week
