Special Olympics Illinois is committed to providing the best athlete, volunteer, coach and supporter environment possible. While we are excited to resume in-person events, the health and well-being of our constituents remains our top priority. All of our in person events follow the COVID-19 recommended IDPH and CDC guidelines.

What is Nelarusky?
15th Annual Official Lollapalooza Aftershow – Tuesday, July 26, 2022
Celebrating it’s 15th year, Nelarusky is an official aftershow for Chicago’s annual Lollapalooza. Over 1,000 tickets have sold each year for this opening night of Lolla week held at Metro. Nelarusky has raised nearly $450,000 over the years to benefit participants of Special Olympics Illinois.
The Nelarusky Mission – To raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Illinois and showcase both local & national acts through an annual benefit concert and a partnership with both Lollapalooza and Metro, Chicago. Nelarusky provides young entrepreneurs and incredible learning opportunity to help organize this event and promotes community service.
