Region B Golf. 3, 6, 9 Hole and Unified Teams

Starting holes and a map of the course have been sent to all coaches.

Each agency has a registration time for check in

• NISRA: 9:00 a.m.
• NSSRA & Warren: 9:10 a.m.
• SRACLC: 9:20 a.m.
• NWSRA: 9:30 a.m.

After check-in, athletes will locate their assigned golf carts and stay there until it is time for the 10:00 a.m. shot gun start. The practice range and putting greens will not be available prior to competition. The back 9 holes are being used, so once hole 18 is complete, athletes will move on to hole 10.

Masks must be worn at all times where social distancing is not possible (While riding in carts or congregating prior to the start of the round). The only time a mask can be taken off is when on the green, fairway or tee box if you are properly social distanced. Special Olympics will not be providing masks so it is up the agency and athletes to bring their own.  For safety reasons Special Olympics will not have water on site so it is the agencies responsibility to inform athletes to bring their own water and bottle.

Final Divisions will be created after the competition based on final score and award certificates will be sent to all coaches. There will not be an awards ceremony and lunch will not be provided; all athletes will be able to leave right after they finish their game.

To make sure we abide by the 50 person maximum set by the IDPH, parents and spectators are unfortunately not allowed to attend and only registered athletes, coaches and partners are allowed at the event.  We are currently at 48 people so it is very important you relay to all parents and guardians the importance of only allowing registered persons into the event.

Special Olympics Illinois is committed to providing the best athlete, volunteer, coach and supporter environment possible. While we are excited to resume in-person events, the health and well-being of our constituents remains our top priority. All of our in-person events follow the COVID-19 recommended IDPH and CDC guidelines.
