Region C – 3,6,9 Hole and Unified Golf
Athletes will choose either 3, 6, 9 OR Unified Golf with a certified Unified Partner. Each agency will be grouped with their own agency. Coaches will be asked to help with scoring and shuttling, no caddy’s will be allowed. We will have staggered start times. Athletes will be shuttled to and from furthest holes but will be responsible for walking the course. Limited pull carts are available at Bartlett Hills, athletes are encouraged to bring their own if they have access to one.
Reminders: Golfers should have their bags on their carts 20 minutes prior to their listed time. Please send golfers to their carts immediately after check in. Carts will have Golfers’ names and scorecards.
Tournament Central will be located on the north side of the parking lot while facing the club house, by the flag pole.
Clubhouse will be open for bathroom use only.
PPE’s must be worn: at tournament central, team staging areas, in carts while shuttling two and from holes, entering the club house to use the restrooms, in the restrooms and at any time when social distance is not an option. Special Olympics will not be providing masks- athletes must bring their own.
Please bring your own golf balls and tees.
This event is non-qualifying. Final Divisions will be created after the competition based on event (3, 6, 9, unified). We will send out award certificates based on final scores to all coaches after the competition. We will not be having an awards ceremony.
For safety reasons Special Olympics will not have water on site or provide food of any kind so it is the agencies responsibility to inform athletes to bring their own water, bottle, lunch and / or snacks.
To make sure we abide by the 50 person maximum set by the IDPH, parents and spectators are unfortunately not allowed to attend and only registered athletes and coaches are allowed at the event.
