
Region D Movement Mondays
You are invited to join Region D athletes, coaches and partners in their Movement Monday Challenge every week.
What is Movement Monday? Movement Monday is a weekly challenge that we are hoping will get you and your athlete’s active throughout the week. This challenge is for anyone and everyone who wants to take part. The challenge will be to record the week’s specific activities daily and submit them on Friday for a chance to be the top participant of the week. THE BEST PART IS THERE WILL BE GIFT CARDS AWARDED TO OUR TOP PARTICIPANTS EVERY MONTH!!!
Each week, a new Movement Monday activity will be encouraged. All movement will be something you can do at home with no equipment. Starting every Monday and ending every Friday a record should be kept of how many movements you complete every day (for example – how many squats you did in one day.) Click here to access the tracking form that can be used every week no matter the movement.
All participants will receive a link to a Google form to post their week’s results. Please keep in mind that the Google Form will be closed for submission Saturday at noon. You only need to submit your results once, which is why the tracker will come in handy. **Coaches if you have athletes who want to participate but may not have access to internet or email please feel free to submit their scores for them, so they can still participate!
We will be going though each submission for the top three participants every week. The top three will be based on how many total movements were done that week (how many squats were done in one week) and will receive a certificate via email for a job well done. We will also announce the highest number of movements completed in one day…who doesn’t love a little friendly competition!
Every four weeks, we will go through and find out who participated in ALL four Movement Mondays. The top three participants for those 4 weeks will receive a gift card!
