Run for Respect

What Is Run for Respect?

This is an in-person 5k, Virtual 5k, and a one-mile walk/run benefiting Special Olympics Illinois and Minooka Community High School.

Event Details

The races begin at 10:00 AM. The mile will start shortly after the 5k runners are released.

The race will begin and end on the Track around the football field. The mile will be completely on the track. The 5k will take place on the streets in the neighborhoods surrounding the school.

Volunteer Information


Awards will be given to the overall top male and Female runners and the top 3 male and female runners per age group (13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, over 70). All participants will receive a Respect University race shirt and a participatory Run 4 Respect medal.
