State Flag Football
All participants should self-screen prior to arriving at this event and should remain home if feeling unwell or displaying coronavirus symptoms.
All athletes, coaches and spectators are required to wear a mask while inside the State Flag Football facility regardless of vaccination status. All athletes and Unified Partners are required to wear a mask indoors while they are competing.
Unless fully vaccinated, participants who are medically able should continue to wear a mask at outdoor venus the majority of time while at Special Olympics Illinois activities.
Athletes and Unified Partners do not have to wear a mask while competing in outdoor competitions.
Vaccination is not required to attend in person events.
Special Olympics Illinois will not be providing masks. Athletes and coaches must bring their own.
SOILL will have hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes/spray and other cleaning/sanitizing products on-site.
Please check with your Region staff on the status of spectators attending competitions. With a few exceptions, only registered athletes, coaches and partners are allowed at these events. It is very important you relay to all parents and guardians the importance of only allowing registered persons into the event.
Special Olympics Illinois is committed to providing the best athlete, volunteer, coach and supporter environment possible. While we are excited to resume in-person events, the health and well-being of our constituents remains our top priority. All of our in person events follow the COVID-19 recommended IDPH and CDC guidelines.

What is State Flag Football?
State Flag Football is one of 11 state sports competitions. It is the culminating competition for those participating in Flag Football. State Flag Football is hosted at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex in Peoria, IL.
State Flag Football is a stand-alone competition and serves as a showcase for our Flag Football athletes to demonstrate the skills they have learned throughout the year.

- Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Sunday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
Spectators are allowed to attend State Flag Football if they sign the COVID Code of Conduct Form. Spectators are encouraged to complete the form on-line using this link: https://www.soill.org/event-spectators/ . Spectator access to the shuttles will be monitored to ensure all spectators have signed the COVID Code of Conduct. Those unwilling to sign the form will not have access to shuttles.

The Opening Ceremony will take place at 8:30am at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex on Saturday morning.
Souvenirs are available by pre-order only. Orders will be available for pick-up at your tournament specific venue on Saturday only. If you are unable to pick-up your items at the event then you can pay to have them shipped to you. To order, please click on the link: www.soillstatestore.com
Stop by the family registration to receive your event packet and a raffle ticket for the FREE Raffle. Don’t forget to wear your credentials. If you don’t have family credentials, you can order them at the event – these are FREE to families. Hours are as follows:

Due to COVID restrictions, there will not be a Victory Dance during State Flag Football in 2021.
