Sunday Oko-Nom-Day!

Special Olympics Illinois’ Leaders Council invites you to join them for a Sunday night filled with cozy comfort and creativity! Chef Soo Ahn will be guiding participants through a cooking lesson via Zoom that will make everyone look like a pro. The night will include a raffle drawing for fantastic culinary-inspired items to help you continue your cooking adventure well after the fun of Sunday-Oko-Nom-Day.

Soo Ahn believes that food, at its best, is a culinary adventure. He takes his experiences in Texas, Korea, California, Washington D.C., and Illinois, as well as in kitchens such as the Ritz Carlton, Grace, El Ideas, Roosters, and Band of Bohemia to push boundaries in his cooking and offer unique concepts for guests to indulge in. In his most recent endeavor where he gained a Michelin Star as the Executive Chef at Band of Bohemia, he mastered reverse-engineering food menus, making his dishes shine and sing while complementing the craft beers brewed in-house.

The ticket price is $75 per Zoom window so you can cook along with your sig-other, family, or Covid-approved social circle. Raffle tickets are $25 each for a chance to win unique items that will continue your culinary journey long after the class on November 8th! (Did someone say turducken?!?) Raffle winners will be announced during the class.
