What is the Young Professionals Board?
Special Olympics Illinois’ Young Professionals Board (YPB) is an active group of young professionals from all sectors of the business community who work together to advance the mission of Special Olympics Illinois (SOILL). As members of the YPB, these young professionals offer their multi-faceted skill sets, life experience, diverse perspectives, and the passion to make a difference for all individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Young professionals living and working in the city of Chicago who are passionate about Special Olympics Illinois are invited to support the mission by becoming a member on the Chicago Young Professionals Board. Our main goals are to support SOILL by fundraising and volunteering, as well as grow awareness of the mission. We’re able to accomplish this by hosting fundraising, networking and social events throughout the city. YPB members are an invaluable part of the SOILL family.

Who can join the Chicago Young Professionals Board?
Any individual between the ages of 22 – 39 who is passionate about SOILL and interested in being involved long-term with the organization, as well as those looking to have a great time and expand their network.
