What is Five-O at the Dirty O

Five-O at the Dirty O is a Law Enforcement Torch Run fundraising event benefiting Special Olympics Illinois. It is a stock car race in which law enforcement officers race stock vehicles decked out in their department’s patrol colors and decals!  The event takes place at the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet.

Each officer must raise a minimum of $500 in donations to participate.  The winning officer not only will receive ultimate bragging rights as the fastest cop in town but will be presented with the trophy. Officer’s interested need to register by clicking the event below.

Event Details

The spectator gates will open at 4 p.m. and the race will begin at 7 p.m. Driver and crew gates open at 9am.

In addition to the race and pre-race activities, we will kickoff the event with a Public Safety Emergency Vehicle show.  Local departments are encouraged to display their patrol vehicles and other specialized vehicles.  If you would like to display a vehicle please sign-up at http://dirtoval66.com/fan-info/five-0-safety-vehicle-registration/.
