Key Volunteer – Finance


 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Finance Department with accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, and general account entries

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Passion for helping individuals with special needs and/or intellectual disabilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; or, 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of accounting standards, conventions and principles
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of Excel Workbook applications
  • Close visual acuity is required; incumbents must be able to use a computer keyboard and look at a computer screen for extended periods of time

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Based out of Headquarters Office in Normal, IL
  • Reports to the Senior Director—Finance & Database Management
  • Ongoing, non-temporary position
  • Flexible schedule; preference for a volunteer who could work two scheduled mornings or afternoons per week
