As many of you know, I am on the Leaders Council for @Special Olympics Illinois. We are currently seeking qualified candidates in the metropolitan Chicago area to join our team. The Leaders Council consists of individuals who champion diversity and inclusion, especially for people with intellectual disabilities, and who will volunteer time and resources to serve more athletes, improve the athlete experience, and raise more funds.
Our council members provide ambassadorship between our organization and your network, as well as spread the Special Olympics Illinois mission, help locate support from members of the business community, attend competitions, support fundraising events, and more.
