Region H provides programming for people in the counties of Adams, Brown, Cass, Greene, Mason, Menard, Morgan, Pike, Sangamon, Schuyler and Scott counties.

There are many opportunities available for you to get involved with Special Olympics including serving as a volunteer or committee member, helping with fundraising or competing as an athlete. The Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run is excited to team up with Schnucks Grocery chain during the month of August to raise funds and awareness for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.  During this event, law enforcement officers and volunteers will staff merchandise tables at the main entrance of their local Schnucks store. Volunteers will sell LETR merchandise, raffle tickets and collect general donations all to benefit to benefit the 23,000 traditional Special Olympics athletes and nearly 20,000 Young Athletes (ages 2 – 7).

 

Event Times:

All participating departments are asked to staff a LETR table at the main entrance of their local Schnucks during the following business hours:

Friday: 4 PM – 8 PM

Saturday: 10 AM – 6 PM

Sunday: 10 AM – 6 PM
