Special Olympics Illinois and the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run are excited to partner to host our second annual Ride for Respect season, this July 16 through August 15 across Illinois! Ride for Respect presented by the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run is the perfect opportunity to get out of the house and hit the road to raise funds and awareness for the more than 23,100 traditional athletes and over 13,000 Young Athletes participating across Illinois.
Who Can Participate?
Ride for Respect is open to anyone who drives a two or four-wheel vehicle and wants to help support the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.
Registration Information
Registration for all participants is $20 per driver and $10 per passenger. All registered drivers will receive an exclusive Ride for Respect bandanna.
Participants are encouraged to create an online fundraising page to share their #Ride4RespectIL efforts with family and friends. Don’t forget to ask your network to donate towards your efforts or join you on your ride. As an added incentive, individuals who raise $125 or more by August 15 will receive an exclusive 2021 Ride for Respect long-sleeved t-shirt as a thank you for your support.

Virtual participants pick their own date, time, and route to #Ride4RespectIL between July 16 and August 15. Hit the road solo, invite passengers to go along, or create a team with family, friends, and your riding club to make a day of it.
