Law Enforcement Torch Run Final Leg

2022 Special Olympics USA Games Announces Tour Stops and Selected Athletes for First-Ever Multi-State Law Enforcement Torch Run®

Guardians of the Flame of Hope will carry the iconic torch during the Final Leg leading up to the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games

For the first time, Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics for the Special Olympics USA Games will be a multi-city, two-week tour making its way to Orlando, Florida. Check out this video of six athletes who will be joining the Law Enforcement Torch runners and serve as Guardians of the Flame.

Special Olympics Illinois athlete, Aaron Drescher, is one of those six athletes. Aaron has been with Special Olympics since 1983. He is a lifelong runner, multisport athlete, and two-time USA Games gold medal winner. It is a great honor to have Aaron represent the state of Illinois leading up to this nationwide event. Congrats, Aaron!
